Their view: Why bother with an open mind?

<p>Now that the Democrats have their demands for a special counsel to investigate allegations that Donald Trump&#8217;s campaign collaborated with Russia satisfied, hopefully this investigation will finally put an end to this ongoing saga.</p><p>Then maybe our politicians in Washington can start doing the jobs they were elected to do by passing equal, fair and meaningful health care and tax reform laws.</p><p>It&#8217;s definitely going to be very interesting to hear and see what comes out of the completed investigation, but how come there were never any special counsels appointed during the Obama administration to investigate Solyndra, Fast and Furious, IRS or Benghazi or to look at Hillary Clinton&#8217;s missing emails and the Clinton Foundation scandals?</p><p>Nobody in that administration was ever indicted or prosecuted for the wrong doing they did in those scandals. No wonder James Comey was fired. He certainly deserved it.</p><p>When it comes to politics, how come the mainstream media in this country are very selective as to what the Democrat columnists write about in newspapers and what the Democrat news reporters report and show to viewers on TV?</p><p><strong>John Hollenback</strong></p><p>Greenfield Township</p><style>
