It didn&#8217;t take Domingo German long to make an impression on the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.In turn, the team&#8217;s offense expressed some appreciation.Dustin Fowler, Clint Frazier and Tyler Wade all homered Wednesday to back German&#8217;s 10-strikeout performance on the mound as the RailRiders rolled over Columbus, 5-0 at the Clippers&#8217; Huntington Park.In just his second Triple-A start, German dominated the Clippers through seven sparkling innings.The recent call-up from Double-A Trenton earned his first Triple-A victory by working a three-hit shutout and retiring the final seven batters he faced &#8212; the last three by strikeout &#8212; before departing after the seventh inning. German matched his career high with the 10 strikeouts, which he only accomplished one other time &#8212; on April 6, 2014 while with Low-A Greensboro against Hickory.He also led the RailRiders to their first shutout of Columbus since 2008, in the final season of the old Cooper Stadium.Gio Gallegos finished up, striking out four batters over two scoreless innings to complete the shutout.The RailRiders gave their pitchers plenty to work with.Fowler started the home run barrage with a two-run shot in the first inning. And Frazier, returning to the stadium his played in before being dealt to the New York Yankees organization in the Andrew Miller trade last July, launched a solo blast later in the opening frame.In the second inning, Wade unloaded a monstrous solo homer to right-center field that bounced three-quarters of the way up the signage alongside an immense video board.
