<p>The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the Wyoming Valley this week.</p><p>According to the NWS, showers and thunderstorms are expected Tuesday through Sunday, and a few of these storms may become strong with small hail, gusty winds and brief heavy rain. The most favorable time for storms will be during the afternoon and evening.</p><p><strong>The forecast</strong></p><p>The National Weather Service indicated it was 57 degrees as of 9:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and light rain and fog were reported.</p><p>Showers likely today, with scattered thunderstorms after 11 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66.</p><p>Tonight will be mostly cloudy and foggy, with a low around 54.</p><p>More thunderstorms are expected Tuesday, with scattered showers after 2 p.m. Some of the storms may produce gusty winds and heavy rain</p><p>Tuesday morning will be foggy before 8 a.m. Scattered showers are possible , with thunderstorms also possible after 2 p.m. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 69.</p><p>Tuesday night there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 3 a.m., then a slight chance of showers.
