<p>Despite rain being in forecasts earlier this week, sunshine is now in the picture for the weekend.</p><p>The Wyoming Valley could, however, still see some rain into Sunday.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated it was 52 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and fog/mist was reported.</p><p>Mostly sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 73. Clear skies will follow into tonight, with a low around 49.</p><p>Partly sunny skies will round out the week on Friday, along with isolated showers in the morning, and scattered showers and thunderstorms after 11 a.m. Less than a tenth of an inch of rainfall is expected, and Friday&#8217;s high will be near 71.</p><p>Friday night is expected to bring partly cloudy skies, along with a slight chance of showers. The low will be around 50.</p><p>Mostly sunny skies are predicted for Saturday, with a high near 71. Partly cloudy skies will follow into Saturday night, with a low around 54.</p><p>Cloudy skies will round out the weekend on Sunday, and showers are likely.
