<p>HANOVER TWP. &#8212; The man accused in a fatal shooting Wednesday at the Marion Terrace Apartments ran to a vehicle afterward and said &#8220;somebody got it. I have to get out of PA,&#8221; a witness told police.</p><p>Suspect Tremaine Jamison, 27, was also reportedly emotional and crying, court records say.</p><p>Jamison allegedly shot and killed Devon Brown, 29.</p><p>Police are still searching for him.</p><p>Here&#8217;s more from a criminal complaint:</p><p>Officers arrived at the apartment complex to find Brown in the street with a single gunshot wound to the head. Luzerne County Coroner William Lisman pronounced him dead at the scene. Police also recovered a single .40-caliber shell casing.</p><p>Investigators interviewed Brown&#8217;s girlfriend, who stated her son and neighborhood kids graduated from kindergarten earlier in the day. The kids played throughout the day, and at one point, another child&#8217;s mother alleged Brown&#8217;s girlfriend&#8217;s son punched her child in the face.</p><p>The confrontation led to a physical dispute between Brown&#8217;s girlfriend, another woman, Brown and Jamison. Brown&#8217;s girlfriend said Brown retrieved a kitchen knife from the residence and ran down the block with Jamison and others.</p><p>That&#8217;s when Jamison fired one shot at Brown from approximately 15 feet away, according to Brown&#8217;s girlfriend.</p><p>Another witness who saw the altercation said before Brown went for a knife, Jamison pulled a pocketknife on Brown. The witness also reported Brown never swung the knife at Jamison, and there were several other men with the suspect.</p><p>The witness reported that when Jamison brandished the firearm, he took aim twice &#8220;to get a good aim&#8221; before pulling the trigger.</p><p>A background check revealed Jamison has a criminal history in New York consisting of two prior robbery convictions. Documents indicate he was sentenced to two to four years in prison.</p><p>Officials have secured an arrest warrant for Jamison through District Judge Joseph Halesey. Police said Jamison is from the Harlem section of New York City, and he may have fled back there.</p><p>Jamison is described as a black man, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue sneakers, tight-fitting blue jeans, and a white long-sleeved shirt.</p><p>Police are asking anyone who knows of Jamison&#8217;s whereabouts to contact troopers at 570-697-2000.</p><style>
