Former Dupont cop David Turkos pleads guilty in child sex assault case

<p>SHAVERTOWN &#8212; Residences had to be temporarily evacuated due to a ruptured gas line on Monday.</p><p>Deputy chief Lynn Sheehan of the Back Mountain Regional Department said crews were dispatched to the area of Druid Hill Drives and East Overbrook Road at 11:50 a.m. for a report of a ruptured gas line.</p><p>Crews installing water lines in the area ruptured a 2-inch gas main using heavy equipment, Sheehan said.</p><p>About 12 residences were evacuated as a precaution, and gas was shut off in the area. Sheehan said residents were able to return to their homes, but could not give a timeline as to when gas service would be restored.</p><p>A crew from UGI was on the scene working to repair the gas line.</p><p>No injuries were reported.</p><style>
