Wyoming Area Catholic School celebrates Donuts with Dads

KINGSTON &#8212; Pediatric Associates, 425 Tioga Ave., is hosting a free interactive class 6 p.m., June 27, on easy tips and fun recipes to keep kids hydrated in the summer heat without added sugars.Drinks like Gatorade, Kool-aid, lemonade and fruit juices are the typical drinks-of-choice among youngsters who desire a thirst-quenching beverage after a long day in the sun. While some of these drinks claim to provide benefits from electrolytes and advertising themselves as made with real fruit, there are healthier ways to keep children hydrated without all the added sugars. What parents may find difficult is convincing their children to choose healthier options.
