<p>WILKES-BARRE TWP. &#8212; A man who allegedly provided officers with a fake name was found with suspected heroin, according to police.</p><p>According to a police report:</p><p>Corey McLaurin, 45, of Dana Street, was pulled over by police on Casey Avenue, in the township at 4:05 p.m. Sunday for having an unlawful registration plate on the vehicle he was operating.</p><p>Police recognized McLaurin as a suspect with a warrant for his arrest. He was asked to exit the vehicle when he was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana.</p><p>At police headquarters, McLaurin was positively identified as a man with an outstanding parole and county warrant.</p><p>During a search of McLaurin, police found 14 bags of suspected heroin.</p><p>He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, false identification to law enforcement and driving with a suspended license.</p><p>Police said McLaurin was sent to Luzerne County Correctional Facility in lieu of arraignment.</p><style>
