K.M. Smith students win awards in Fiesta Student Poetry contest

<p>Gerald Tracy, MD, a cardiovascular disease specialist from South Abington Township who is credited for being a medical education visionary, was named the 2017 recipient of the Pennsylvania Medical Society&#8217;s Distinguished Service Award. It is considered the highest award a member can receive from the statewide organization.</p><p>A founding member of the Medical Education Development Consortium in 2004, Dr. Tracy helped bring medical education to Northeast Pennsylvania, now Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, with the first class entering in 2009.</p><p>He will formally be presented his award Oct. 14 in Hershey.</p><style>
