Wolf says Pennsylvania won’t help Trump voter fraud group

<p>HAZLETON &#8212; An increase in vehicle and foot patrols on South Pine Street netted several arrests Thursday.</p><p>According to a news release from Police Chief Jerry Speziale, Operation Pressure Point has taken Pamela Laureano, 24, and Derek Kotsko, 24, off the streets and cited two others with violating the city&#8217;s drug ordinance.</p><p>Officers were patrolling at 4:52 p.m. when they found Laureano allegedly overdosing inside a white vehicle outside a home on South Pine Street. Laureano was revived with Narcan and told police she had just left &#8220;Ray&#8217;s,&#8221; Speziale said.</p><p>Laureano was determined to be wanted by the Luzerne County Sheriff&#8217;s Department for failure to appear.</p><p>Police attempting to make contact with Raymond Pacelli observed Natalie Ann Bersavage allegedly placing a syringe in her purse. A short time later, Pacelli answered the door and allowed officers inside. They found several spoons, crack pipes and empty heroin packets in plain view, Speziale said.</p><p>Both Bersavage and Pacelli were taken into custody, cited with violating the city drug ordinance and released.</p><p>While gathering evidence at Pacelli&#8217;s residence, Kotsko came to the back door and &#8220;appeared annoyed at the presence of officers,&#8221; Speziale said.</p><p>He said an investigation determined Kotsko was wanted by Luzerne County Sheriff&#8217;s for numerous warrants for failure to appear. Kotsko was taken into custody and later transported to Luzerne County Correctional Facility.</p><p>As officers were transporting Kotsko to the facility, Hazleton Narcotics detectives conducting backup surveillance saw Laureano attempting to enter Pacelli&#8217;s residence through the front door. Police determined she jumped out of the ambulance transporting her to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton, and fled on foot, Speziale said.</p><p>She was again taken into custody by Hazleton police and transported to headquarters before being transported successfully to the hospital. Upon arrival at the hospital, she allegedly became combative and was restrained. She was taken to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.</p><p>Speziale said Hazleton police will &#8220;continue to saturate and monitor the area (of South Pine Street) with a zero tolerance in effect.&#8221;</p><style>
