Police, coroner probe fatal hit-and-run in rural Pennsylvania

<p>The National French Contest, sponsored by the Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF), announces area national and chapter French winners from elementary through high school. Created by the late Dr. Margaret Corgan from King&#8217;s College, a dinner is hosted annually by the college. Local national- and chapter- award winners from Crestwood High School are Sereina Brenhofer, James Lanning, Andrew Tuck and Madison Weiss. Holy Redeemer: Peter Maria, Riley McLaughlin, Emily Nguyen and Ryan Williams; Wyoming Seminary Lower School: Emily Aikens, Hannah Frels, Christina Kaspar, Oliver Lew, Jessie Miller, Jonah Pascal, Alyssa Shonk and Alvin Tuo. Wyoming Seminary: Beyza Akinci, Lauren Anderson, Juan Astegiano, Grace Cen, Aishani Chauhan, Elena Fenster, Kyle Hromisin, Nicolas Salois Ichak, Jessica Kilyanek, Alyssa Kristeller, Emilia Lautz, Vasili Ortali, Gabrielle Snyder and Bella Tang. Local chapter winners are Wyoming Seminary Lower School students Camilla Caporale, Ainsley Eidam, Benjamin Fenster, Lucie Lew, Gabriel Rampp and Faith Stoshak.
