<p>EDWARDSVILLE &#8212; A new addition to the West Side Mall is expected to open its doors this fall.</p><p>Dollar General will convert an existing dollar store at 274 West Side Mall to a new Dollar General with a modern layout and more options for shoppers, the retail chain announced Wednesday.</p><p>The conversion comes as part of Dollar General&#8217;s acquisition of Dollar Express LLC in April.</p><p>The new store is expected to open for business by late fall following renovations.</p><p>Between six and 10 people will be hired. Available positions can be found online at www.dollargeneral.com/careers.</p><style>
