<p>The Luzerne/Wyoming chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (PASR) awarded a $250 grant to Karen Vino, a kindergarten teacher in the Hazleton Area School District, to purchase STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) materials for her classroom. Heather Pitcavage, a first-grade teacher in the Dallas School District, received a $250 grant to purchase a hydroponic garden for her classroom fish tank.
