US retail sales fall for a second month as consumers pull back

<p>Heavy rain is expected to stick around the Wyoming Valley throughout the rest of today.</p><p>Sunshine, however, should return to the region by Saturday.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated it was 69 degrees as of 5:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and heavy rain was reported.</p><p>Showers are likely today, along with some possible thunderstorms. Some storms could produce heavy rain. Up to three quarters of an inch of rain could fall. Today&#8217;s high will be near 79.</p><p>Showers will continue to be likely before 11 p.m. tonight, along with a few thunderstorms. A chance of showers and thunderstorms will linger overnight, along with mostly cloudy skies. Up to a quarter of an inch of total rainfall is possible, but more could fall in thunderstorms. The low will be around 64.</p><p>Partly sunny skies are predicted for Saturday, along with a slight chance of showers before 3 p.m. The high will be near 82.</p><p>Partly cloudy skies will follow into Saturday night, with a low around 63.</p><p>Mostly sunny skies will round out the weekend on Sunday, with a high near 85.</p><p>Partly cloudy skies will carry over into Sunday night, along with a slight chance of showers.
