<p>PLAINS TWP. &#8212; There are alternatives to visiting your doctor when dealing with health issues, according to Donna Will, owner of the Inner Peace Health, Healing &amp; Wellness Associates at the 315 Plaza.</p><p>Will and a group of her professional colleagues showcased numerous &#8220;holistic&#8221; healing methods at Inner Peace&#8217;s fourth annual Summer Psychic Fair on Sunday.</p><p>About 600 visitors were able to get a psychic reading, learn about healthful diets and nutrition, talk to vendors about natural healing products, purchase various jewelry and stones and even get a good back massage. Will greeted them warmly as they entered, thanking them for taking the time to stop by.</p><p>&#8220;We are here to promote holistic healing,&#8221; Will said. &#8220;Mainstream medicine has its place and should come together with holistic healing for the overall health of the public,&#8221; she said. &#8220;It&#8217;s not just about the almighty dollar.&#8221;</p><p>She tells skeptics to just give it a try. Everyone can heal themselves physically and spiritually if they know how, she said.</p><p>Sandra Mangold and her daughter, Jean Degnan, from Wilkes-Barrre, are regular visitors to Inner Peace. They both enjoy the meditation and relaxation techniques they learned there.</p><p>Degnan said she finds meditation at the end of a long work week is a very healthy way to &#8220;come back to earth.&#8221; She attends Friday evening meditation sessions. Mangold stressed how the staff at Inner Peace make her feel &#8220;welcome&#8221; and are always friendly and supportive when she goes there.</p><p>On Sunday, there were several vendors and eight psychic readers using all types of methods. Will stressed that the readers there were the &#8220;best of the best.&#8221;</p><p>Even though most don&#8217;t realize, they can use their minds in much more effective ways &#8212; even learning ways to become psychic on their own, Will said. Everyone has the ability, she added.</p><p>Inner Peace offers workshops and other activities to help those who may wish to explore their psychic abilities, she said. &#8220;If you can match the frequency, you can have it.&#8221;</p><p>Also shown at the fair were various therapies such as yoga, aromatherapy, detox, energy therapies and lifestyle essentials such as candles, incense, lotions and oils that also help achieve a healthy lifestyle, Will added.</p><p>&#8220;Everything is about balance,&#8221; she said.</p><style>
