<p>FORTY FORT &#8212; Zach Graham and Eric Kuhn first bonded over a love of fashion.</p><p>The duo met in graduate school at Marywood University in Scranton and found common ground in their love of clothes and career aspirations.</p><p>&#8220;We knew that we wanted to go into the fashion world somehow,&#8221; said Graham, 24, of Scranton.</p><p>They did just that, opening The Haberdashery in the Rutter 900 complex this month.</p><p>When they met, Kuhn, 31, of Dickson City, was working at Friedman&#8217;s Clothier in Dunmore, but when owner Phil Friedman decided to close his store at the end of 2016, Kuhn and Graham saw an opportunity to team up.</p><p>Originally, the pair was looking at possible storefronts in Scranton, but after Friedman suggested Rutter Avenue to Kuhn, he looked at the location.</p><p>&#8220;I came and checked it out, and I loved what I saw,&#8221; Kuhn said.</p><p>Kuhn and Graham said the building, which is filled with other small businesses such as Canteen 900 and The Shop barbershop, was the perfect location for the store. The two said other business owners in the complex have welcomed them, a feeling they say helps create a positive environment.</p><p>&#8220;Everybody truly wants to see everybody else succeed,&#8221; Graham said.</p><p>&#8220;It&#8217;s an amazing environment,&#8221; Kuhn added. &#8220;You can&#8217;t have an idea too different.&#8221;</p><p>The two have taken that approach to heart. Adorned with a graffiti desk and a chandelier hanging from the ceiling, the interior of the shop melds classic style with modern fashion. Working with designers in New York to stock inventory, The Haberdashery sells a wide variety of clothes and accessories, from jeans and T-shirts to full suit sets.</p><p>&#8220;We have something for everybody,&#8221; Kuhn said.</p><p>Kuhn and Graham said they wanted to build an environment focusing on the type of customer they want to draw in. In addition to selling clothes, The Haberdashery has a tailor customers can use when purchasing items. They also allow customers to drop off and pick up dry cleaning at the location.</p><p>&#8220;We&#8217;re focused on the customer,&#8221; Graham said.</p><p>Kuhn echoed that customer service is a cornerstone of their business, and both owners they want to provide a unique atmosphere where people feel comfortable shopping and can find the latest trends in men&#8217;s fashion.</p><p>&#8220;Men are very passionate about their clothes,&#8221; Graham said. </p><style>
