Judge halts Sunoco pipeline work in eastern Pennsylvania

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; City police officers were called to the Walgreens store on Wilkes-Barre Township Boulevard just after 6 p.m. Monday for a report of two individuals stealing merchandise.</p><p>According to the police report, upon arrival the officers confronted the suspects, both of whom admitted to taking items and concealing them on their person. The suspects were placed in custody, and both parties admitted to taking heroin, police said.</p><p>Arrested were Kyle Patterson, 23, of Avoca, and Ashleigh Myers, 22, of Wapwallopen.</p><p>Police said Myers was in possession of drug paraphernalia and had unpaid merchandise valued at $23.19 on her, and Patterson had $33.92 in unpaid merchandise.</p><style>
