Luzerne County restaurant inspections July 19 - 25: Chicken wings in bucket lead to out of compliance

<p>HAZLETON &#8212; A man wanted in suspicion of being involved in a violent assault that occurred Wednesday night was found by Hazleton police Friday night.</p><p>According to police, Burt Peltz, 40, with no permanent address, was found around 10 p.m. Friday in a wooded area to the south of the Hazleton Shopping Center. Police say they responded to the area after receiving a tip that Peltz was there.</p><p>Police say that Peltz was involved with an assault Wednesday night in the area of 554 W. Broad St., Hazleton, after receiving reports of a victim bleeding from the head. The victim is a 62-year-old male who is &#8220;well-known&#8221; to the community, but he was not identified by Hazleton police. The victim was taken to a hospital in an ambulance, and then was taken by helicopter to a trauma center.</p><p>Peltz was taken into custody on the fugitive warrant, and was transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.</p><p>Peltz will be arraigned today by the Magisterial District Judge on duty.</p><p>Hazleton Police Chief Jerry Speziale said, &#8220;This was a senseless act of violence and swift and decisive action led to the apprehension of Peltz.&#8221;</p><p>UPDATE (2:30 p.m.): Chief Speziale said in an email that bail for Peltz was set for $50,000.&#8221;</p><style>
