<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; City police are investigating a shooting in the area of North Main Street and Kulp Avenue on Sunday.</p><p>Officers responding to the area for a report of a gunshot victim called in just after 10 p.m. found the male victim shot in the leg and abdomen, according to police. He was taken to an area hospital where he was listed in stable condition, police said.</p><p>Police said the suspects fled on foot toward the rear of the residence on North Main. An address was not provided, and further information was unavailable. City police did not immediately return a message seeking further details.</p><p>The shooting remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Wilkes-Barre police at 570-208-4200.</p><style>
