WILKES-BARRE: GRASP (grief recovery after substance passing), is a grief support group that is hosting the International Overdose Awareness Walk from 3 to 6 p.m., Aug. 27, at Kirby Park, at Pavilion 2.This is a free event, open to the public, except for raffle tickets and t-shirts for purchase.The event will include a small walk, guest speakers, food, music and a memorial table where participants are encouraged to bring a picture of their loved one to share. A balloon release will end the day with each name read individually to honor those lost to substance abuse.The &#8220;Our Lives matter&#8221; quilt will be displayed as it circulates through Pennsylvania.GRASP meets at 6 p.m., the fourth of each month, on the first-floor of First Hospital, in the Davis Conference Room.
