<p>The Wilkes-Barre chapter Verizon Telecom Pioneers #7, craft group, distributed 165 place mats to the residents of Timber Ridge Nursing Home, Plains Township, that were hand made using greeting cards. This is a non-profit organization of active and retired members of Verizon Communications who are involved in many volunteer and charitable activities. With the place mats, from left, first row, are: Nancy Manfre and Aldona Smith.
