Crestwood edges Wyoming Area on long 4th-quarter touchdown run

<p>The 2017 Interdependence Hexagon Project is open through Sept. 29 at The Marketplace at Steamtown, 300 Lackawanna Ave., Scranton.</p><p>According to a press release from the project, the exhibit features visual art in all media by students ages 4 to 18 from around the world with the purpose of showcasing the power and strength of youthful voice and creative vision.</p><p>Over 600 hexagons from community in the U.S., Africa, Australia, Egypt, Japan, Greece and Nepal are featured.</p><p>A student recognition program will take place on Sept. 10. An awards presentation will start at 3 p.m.</p><p>Project founder Beth Burhauser said the project shows the interlinking of hexagons to demonstrate both understanding of interdependence and how art can lead in and become issues-based global activism.</p><p>For more information, call 570-877-1653.</p><style>
