Penn State aims to keep emotions in check against rival Pitt

<p>A restaurant long slated to come to the Wilkes-Barre area finally will open next month.</p><p>Texas Roadhouse, a chain steak restaurant, will be at 465 Wilkes-Barre Township Blvd., joining Kohl&#8217;s and Sam&#8217;s Club in the center that houses those businesses.</p><p>The restaurant&#8217;s corporate website doesn&#8217;t list a date for the grand opening. When the eatery opens, however, the hours will be 3 to 10 p.m. weekdays and noon to 10 p.m. on weekends.</p><p>In January 2015, Texas Roadhouse announced it would open locally at the site of the former Lone Star Steakhouse, 805 Kidder St. However, issues with the site forced the Louisville, Ky.-based company to find a new Wilkes-Barre site.</p><p>The career website Indeed.com lists several job openings at the restaurant.</p><style>
