Quinn on Nutrition: Getting creative with leftovers

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Bleachers, the popular indie-pop-rock outfit led by Jack Antonoff, will perform during an evening of music that begins at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 2 at the F.M. Kirby Center, 71 Public Square.</p><p>Bleachers will be joined by special guests Bishop Briggs, Misterwives and Welshly Arms.</p><p>Antonoff, also the lead guitarist for Grammy-winning group fun., started Bleachers as a solo project during fun.&#8217;s tour in support of its 2012 album &#8220;Some Nights.&#8221;</p><p>Bleachers&#8217; debut single &#8220;I Wanna Get Better&#8221; was released in the spring of 2014 and followed by the album &#8220;Strange Desire&#8221; that summer.</p><p>&#8220;Gone Now,&#8221; Bleachers&#8217; latest studio album was released in June, and the single &#8220;Don&#8217;t Take the Money&#8221; reached the top 10 on the alternative song charts, according to a press release from the Kirby Center.</p><p>A British alternative artist based in Los Angeles, Bishop Briggs reached No. 2 on Spotify&#8217;s global viral 50 and broke the top 10 on rock airplay and alternative song charts.</p><p>New York city-basked pop outfit Misterwives toured internationally after the release of its debut album &#8220;Our Own House&#8221; and has received attention from Interview, Paste and MTV Buzzworthy.</p><p>Welshly Arms, a blues-rock ensemble from Cleveland, is generating buzz on the heels of its breakout single &#8220;Legendary.&#8221;</p><p>General admission tickets cost $28 and are available now through the Kirby Center box office, online at kirbycenter.org and by phone at 570-826-1100.</p><style>
