<p>As part of their ongoing commitment to community service, the students at Solomon-Plains Elementary School collect aluminum tabs throughout the school year to assist the Shriners&#8217; Hospitals in their mission to provide the best care to children in their specialty areas of orthopaedics, burn care, spinal cord injury, and cleft lip and palate, regardless of a family&#8217;s ability to pay.</p><p>More than 200 pounds of tabs were collected during the 2016-2017 school year. The proceeds were recently presented to the Irem Shrine to benefit the Shriners&#8217; Hospitals.
