Family Service Association of NEPA issues honors during annual meeting

<p>The Very Rev. Dr. David Hester, pastor of St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 905 South Main St., Wilkes-Barre, was honored recently on his retirement after serving 27 years as an Orthodox priest. He served as Pastor of St. George Antiochian Church in Vicksburg, Miss., for 10 years before coming to St. Mary where he served for the last 17 years. He is the second longest serving priest in the Parish of St. Mary. The parishioners of St. Mary honored Rev. David and his wife Anne at a special dinner held at the Irem Temple Country Club in Dallas. Speeches were given, and a special video presentation highlighted Rev. Hester&#8217;s career. The Very Reverend Dr. David Hester honored on retirement from St. Mary
