Legal experts split on if NFL can punish for anthem protests

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/news/local/627960/police-man-molested-juvenile-said-to-keep-it-their-little-secret" target="_blank">Wilkes-Barre man </a>accused of inappropriately touching a child and telling the victim it would be their &#8220;secret&#8221; pleaded no contest to the charges against him Wednesday.</p><p>Frederick Goslin, 61, entered the plea before Luzerne County Judge David Lupas, who set sentencing for Jan. 9.</p><p>A no-contest plea is not an admission of guilt, but it is an acknowledgment that the prosecution has enough evidence to prove its case. Under such a plea, defendants are sentenced as if they pleaded guilty.</p><p>Goslin was arraigned earlier this year for an alleged incident in July 2016.</p><p>Wilkes-Barre Police say they responded to a West Maple Street home for reports of a man inappropriately touching a child under 13.</p><p>The victim told police Goslin offered $5 after an encounter and allegedly said: &#8220;This will be our little secret.&#8221;</p><p>Goslin was initially interviewed at police headquarters Nov. 14, where he waived his right to counsel. Goslin denied the inappropriate touching during the interview.</p><p>The defendant is in the county&#8217;s lockup.</p><style>
