Students from St. Nicholas-St. Mary School celebrate Johnny Appleseed Day

<p>Holy Resurrection Orthodox Cathedral, 591 N. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, will celebrate its 125th anniversary the weekend of Oct. 28 and 29. The church was founded by St. Alexis Toth of Wilkes-Barre. An open house will be held on Oct. 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. with refreshments and tours, including descriptions of the church icons. On Oct. 29, a Hierarchal Divine Liturgy will be held followed by a banquet at AppleTree Terrace in Dallas.
