Meyers no match for Scranton Prep in district opener

The Comets closed out their 5-6 season with three losses by a combined 125-7 score. They were shutout in their last two.The Comets appeared to be back in form under the full moon. Crestwood figured out Valley View on its first defensive possession. The Cougars used their patented fake-punt play with a direct snap to Chandler Full, who sprinted downfield for 34 yards, eventually setting up a Sam Pittsman touchdown.From there, things became hard to watch.Valley View put together five touchdowns in a span of seven offensive plays.
