Pennsylvania man charged with DUI after going to vote a day early

<p>An eclectic Duryea restaurant will close its doors on New Year&#8217;s Eve after eight years in business, the owner announced on Facebook.</p><p>&#8220;Today is a bitter sweet day for AuRants,&#8221; chef and owner Dave &#8220;Davo&#8221; Ciminelli wrote on the resturant&#8217;s page.</p><p>Ciminelli said AuRants will be open for regular hours through Dec. 31, and said they will try to include popular signature dishes from their tenure to spotlight over the next month.</p><p>Ciminelli said he decided to take a &#8220;new path&#8221; and join Michael Langdon at Alter House in Clarks Summit, which is expected to open in February.</p><p>&#8220;It&#8217;s time for me to move forward,&#8221; he wrote.</p><p>Ciminelli thanked his family, friends and patrons for their support over the past eight years at AuRants, which bills itself as a &#8220;New American Restaurant.&#8221;</p><p>&#8220;Our eight years open here has been very memorable thanks to ALL the wonderful people who supported us over the years,&#8221; Ciminelli wrote. &#8220;Again, I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful memories &amp; continual support over the years.&#8221;</p><style>
