<p>State Police say they have seized dozens of electronic gaming machines in Luzerne, Lackawanna and Wyoming counties as part of an investigation into illegal gambling.</p><p>The raids, led by the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, were carried out Wednesday at licensed liquor establishments and other locations in the three counties.</p><p>Along with the illegal gambling machines, more than $400,000 in cash was confiscated, according to a press release from troopers.</p><p>The release did not indicate what establishments were part of the raid or what charges could be coming.</p><p>Electronic gambling is illegal in Pennsylvania in places that have not been approved for licensing by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.</p><p>Any prosecutions to come out of the case will be handled by the state Office of Attorney General.</p><p>In 2017 alone, the State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement has seized over 400 of these electronic gaming devices. State Police say liquor licensees could face administrative action and criminal citations if they are found in violation, adding that these devices could jeopardize the renewal of liquor licenses.</p><p>If you wish to make a complaint about potential violations of liquor licenses, you can contact the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement at 800-932-0602.</p><style>
