Greater Wilkes-Barre Labor Council holds clothing drive

<p>WILKES-BARRE TWP. &#8212;A Lord &amp; Taylor employee was arrested last week for allegedly stealing hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise and possible possession of drugs.</p><p>According to a police report:</p><p>Police apprehended Melquan Mitchell, 22, of Brooklyn, N.Y., after store security was checking the employees as they exited the warehouse after completing their shifts. Mitchell was found to have concealed a Michael Kors bracelet, Lord &amp; Taylor earrings, a Nadri necklace, Ray Ban sunglasses, Dahlia Divin perfume, and several other items. The total amount of the stolen items was $662.04.</p><p>He was also found to be in possession of what authorities suspected was marijuana. Mitchell was charged with retail theft and possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned in District Court, and remanded to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for bail set at $15,000.</p><style>
