<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A fugitive wanted in New Jersey for homicide was arrested in the city Wednesday, police report.</p><p>Officers responded to the 100 block of Westminster Street at 8:35 a.m. to check on an elderly male. During the call, they said they encountered Curtis Benthall, 49.</p><p>It was subsequently determined that Benthall was wanted in New Jersey for homicide, according to authorities.</p><p>Benthall was arrested and lodged as a fugitive at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.</p><style>
