<p><strong>THIS WEEK: Nov. 24 to 30</strong></p><p><strong>Cranberry Creek, </strong>a free, guided, challenging hike of about 3 miles including stream crossings to explore the Nothstein Preserve in Paradise Township. New trails will help hikers investigat the preserve&#8217;s unique featuers. 10 a.m. Nov. 25. Registration required. Directions provided upon registration. Call 570-839-1120.</p><p><strong>FUTURE</strong></p><p><strong>Christmas Naturally, </strong>create one-of-a-kind tree ornaments and holiday decorations using a variety of natural items such as pine cones and milkweek pods. 3 to 7 p.m. Dec. 1. Nescopeck State Park. Meet at park office. Free. Register at 570-403-2006.</p><p><strong>Tubs Natural Area,</strong> moderate 5 + 3 mile hike. Meet at the Sears Auto Center, Wyoming Valley Mall at 11:45 a.m. Dec. 3 and leave at noon. Bring snack and water. We will all hike the first 5 miles. Birds like this Cardinal will be the subject of a workshop at the Piedmont Physic Garden from 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday, April 15. The workshop will be conducted by Rusty Wilson, a graduate of Clemson University with a major in Zoology.
