<p>WILKES-BARRE TWP. &#8212;A Scranton woman was arrested on multiple charges including possession of suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia after she was seen injecting herself in the parking lot of Walmart Saturday, according to police.</p><p>According to the police report:</p><p>An off duty police officer observed Jacquelyn Nachand, 39, injecting a substance he believed to be heroin. When police arrived on the scene shortly before 6 p.m., Nachand resisted officers&#8217; attempts to remove her from her car and tried to pull away.</p><p>She was then taken into custody. Nachand attempted to kick the rear window out of the police car. When she was taken to police headquarters, Nachand freed herself from a set of handcuffs and fled on foot toward Watson Street.</p><p>She was again taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault, escape, resisting arrest, possession of suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct.</p><p>Nachand was detained at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.</p><style>
