<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A Philadelphia man who was allegedly trying to contact minors for sex in the Kingston area could be facing more charges.</p><p>Vincent Long, 54, was set to have a preliminary hearing Wednesday on felony counts of sexual communication with a minor and criminal use of a communication facility.</p><p>But officers said there was evidence that Long may have been speaking with other females, and new charges may possibly come from those conversations.</p><p>Long&#8217;s preliminary hearing has been rescheduled for 9 a.m. Jan. 12 in front of District Judge Joseph A. Halesey.</p><p>Long was arrested Nov. 20 after police say he was attempting to have sexual conversations with underage females in the Kingston area, contacting them through the direct message feature on the social media app Instagram.</p><p>What police say Long didn&#8217;t know was that two of the accounts he was allegedly messaging were controlled by a concerned father and a Kingston detective.</p><p>A father came to police in early September, telling them an Instagram user under the name &#8220;jamesroberts7356&#8221; began contacting both his daughter and his niece.</p><p>The father set up an Instagram account posing as a young girl, and the &#8220;jamesroberts7356&#8221; account began messaging him, eventually sending him sexually explicit messages, a complaint says.</p><p>Eventually, the father transferred control of the account to Kingston Detective Stephen Dickson, who continued to have sexually graphic conversations with the user behind &#8220;jamesroberts7356,&#8221; authorities report. Dickson also says he began having similar conversations with &#8220;jamesroberts7356&#8221; on a second account, posing as another young girl.</p><p>Long was identified as a suspect based on email and IP addresses associated with the account provided to officers by Instagram, court records show.</p><p>He continues to be held at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility after he was unable to post $100,000 bail.</p><style>
