Their view: Why Republicans cherish their unloved tax cut

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A man and a woman were arrested Saturday night after, according to police, they robbed Family Dollar in Ashley and engaged police in a car chase that led to Wilkes-Barre.</p><p>John Ricko Jr., 32, and Melissa Ann Doran, 32, both of Warrior Run, are facing charges after the incident.</p><p>According to a police report:</p><p>Police say that Ricko entered the store located on South Main Street around 9:15 p.m. and took cash from the register. The store manager chased him into the parking lot, where there was a confrontation between the two.</p><p>Ricko then entered a vehicle driven by Doran, and both fled the scene. An investigation determined the identity of the suspects, and police were able to locate the vehicle in the area of Walmart in Wilkes-Barre Township. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the suspects fled again, and police initiated a pursuit.</p><p>The vehicle crashed in Wilkes-Barre, where Ricko and Doran were taken into custody. They were charged with robbery and other related charges and remanded to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.</p><style>
