Remember When: Do-it-yourself decorating in Christmas seasons past

<p>The primary students of Wyoming Area Catholic School recently participated in a fire safety prevention program and demonstration hosted by five local fire companies: Plains, West Wyoming, Pittston Township, Exeter and Jenkins Township. Ten firefighters from those companies demonstrated fire equipment, taught students how to use a fire extinguisher and actually put out a computer-generated fire and instructed students how to stop, drop and roll. The Pittston City Fire Department loaned their smoke house for a demonstration and training of the students on the steps to follow in case of a fire. Shown are the students and their instructors. In the last row are Captain Mike Sebia and Captain Mike Van Luvender from the Plains Fire Department; Captain Tony Angelella from the Pittston Township Fire Department; Bryan Tonte and Ben Defazio from the Jenkins Township Fire Department; Nate Redmond, David Skursky, Brenda Jurchak from the Exeter Fire Department; Zachary Benczkowski from the Exeter and West Wyoming Fire Departments; Mrs. Eileen Rishcoff, principal of Wyoming Area Catholic School and Mrs. Anne Powers.
