<p>The Donegal Society recently awarded several donations to children&#8217;s organizations in the area. The Donegal Society is a social club that started many years ago with a focus on the history of Irish immigrants. Meetings are held monthly at St. Benedict&#8217;s Parish on the site of St. Dominic&#8217;s Church, 155 Austin Ave., Parsons section of Wilkes-Barre. New members are most welcome.
