Phillip Byriel erupted for 15 of his game-high 22 points in the second half Saturday as MMI Prep edged Marian Catholic, 56-55 in a high school boys basketball game at MMI.The teams were tied 26-26 at halftime, but Byriel scored eight points in the Preppers&#8217; 15-point third quarter to take a one-point lead.
