Observed a build up of syrup residue on the surface around the nozzles on the self serve beverage machines. Surface was cleaned. Old residue and a utensil observed in the hand-wash sinks, indicating uses other than hand-washing. Receiving door located in the back area of the food facility has a gap and does not protect against the entry of insects, rodents, and other animals. Observed a build up of residues and debris on the floor in multiple areas of the facility. Observed a build up of food residue and grime in the floor drain in the kitchen. Working containers in multiple areas, used for storing cleaners taken from bulk supplies, were not marked with the common name of the chemical. Containers were labeled. Food facility is not testing and recording the pH of each batch of sushi rice. Rice was tested and pH is acceptable. Discussed proper testing and need to maintain logs.
