Eat in or take out. $9 for adults, $5 for children.Eat, Drink &amp; Paint Benefit, hosted by the Kunkle Fire Company, will take place at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 19 at the Kunkle Social Hall, 815 Kunkle Road, Dallas. The cost is $45 per person and includes food, non-alcoholic beverages and all necessary painting supplies. Must be 18 or older to attend. BYOB permissible for patrons 21 and older. Space is limited. The breakfast will include scrambled eggs, French toast, pancakes, scrapple, ham, home fries, homemade biscuits, white or rye toast with chipped beef, sausage gravies and homemade sticky buns. $9.50 for adults; $4.50 for children 6 to 12; free for children under 6. Take-out is available at 570-542-2562.Soup and salad dinner, hosted by the Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Department, will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Jan. 21 at 329 Orange Road, Dallas. Fire department members will be making different kinds of soup and patrons will choose which one is best. $7 per meal, which includes a bowl of soup, salad, bread, dessert and a drink. Soup entries are welcomed to compete for a grand prize. Event supports the the fire department. For more information, call the station at 570-333-4124.Crock Pot Soup Fest, hosted by Mountain Top American Legion Auxiliary, Post 781, will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Jan. 21 at teh post home, 1550 Henry Drive, Mountain Top. A $5 donation will secure 10 tickets for patrons. This enables patrons to sample the soups available. Bread, crackers and desserts will also be included. Proceeds benefit the auxiliary. Sherpherd&#8217;s Pie Sale, will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 2 at the Wyoming United Methodist Church, 376 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Orders are due by Jan. 25 by calling the church office at 570-693-2821. Pies are homemade from scratch and served in a 12-ounce deep dish pot pie pan. Each pie costs $6.50. On pickup day, drive to the back of the church and enter through the kitchen.Meatloaf dinner, will take place from 4 to 6:30 p.m. April 29 at St. Martin in the Fields, the little stone church at the corner of Nuangola and Church roads in Mountain Top. The meal costs $10 for ages 12 and older and $5 for ages 5 to 11, and those younger than 5 are admitted free. Welsh cookies will also be available for purchase.<style>
