<p>The Wilkes-Barre Chapter of Verizon Telecom Pioneers No. 7 Craft Group spread some Christmas cheer by distributing 110 place mats handmade from recycled greeting cards to the residents of Mountain Top Senior Care and Rehab Center in Mountain Top. The Telecom Pioneers is a non-profit organization of active and retired members of Verizon Communications who are involved in many volunteer activities throughout the area. The group is the largest industry-related, non-profit organization in the country.
