St. Jude first graders study animal habitats

<p>Students in the pastry arts management program at Luzerne County Community College recently made gingerbread houses as part of a class project. The gingerbread houses were on display at the Joseph A. Paglianite Culinary Institute and those who viewed the display were able to vote for their favorite house. The pastry arts students also held a gingerbread gala and food collection to benefit the LCCC Peter J. Lello Food Bank in conjunction with this year&#8217;s display. Shown with the winning houses are, first row: Allison Krome, second place; Tina Berchtold-Boyer, first place; and Jennifer Brown, third place. Second row: Alison Hayes and John Greskiewicz, gingerbread gala co-chairs.</p><style>

LCCC pastry arts students display gingerbread houses
