Police: Woman attempts to use counterfeit $100 bills in Hazleton

<p>There&#8217;s something about trail cameras that bears can&#8217;t resist. Many readers have submitted photos over the years of bears mugging extremely close to the camera. Several people have told me their cameras captured up-close images of bears moments before the bruin ripped the camera off the tree. Photos of bears licking, clawing and mauling trail cameras aren&#8217;t uncommon.</p><p>Reader David Mackrell is lucky. The bears that have visited his trail cameras got close, but weren&#8217;t very destructive. The photos were taken in Jefferson Township, Lackawanna County and all the bears appear quite large. One even has a tag in its left year, which is odd because the Pennsylvania Game Commission typically puts a tag in each ear of every bear it captures. They do this because if one tag is lost, there is still another to identify the bruin if it&#8217;s captured again. In the case of this particular bear, the two-tag approach worked.</p><p><em>Capture anything interesting on your hand-held or trail camera? A nice buck, bear, coyote or any other wildlife?
