Pierogies cost $8 per dozen and will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday through Friday in the church hall for the next two weeks.Sherpherd&#8217;s Pie Sale, will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 2 at the Wyoming United Methodist Church, 376 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Orders are due by Jan. 25 by calling the church office at 570-693-2821. Pies are homemade from scratch and served in a 12-ounce deep dish pot pie pan. Each pie costs $6.50. On pickup day, drive to the back of the church and enter through the kitchen.FUTURESoup &amp; Salad Dinner, will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 3 at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 1422 Mt. Zion Road, Harding. The dinner costs $7 per person and is all-you-can-eat.Pre-Lenten Pork and Sauerkraut/Kapusta Dinner will take place at 12:15 p.m. Feb. 4 at the St. Vladimir Ukranian Greek Catholic Church&#8217;s parish center, 428 N. Seventh Ave., Scranton between West Lackawanna Avenue and West Linden Street. The menu features slow roasted pork loin, gravy, Ukrainian kapusta (sweet and sour cabbage), mashed potatoes, vegetable, bread and rolls, dessert, coffee, tea and other beverages. $13 for adults; $8 for students age 6 to 12; free for children 5 and younger.
