<p>Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine has announced that 10 of its fourth-year medical students have successfully matched into residency programs. While most of the MD Class of 2018 class will learn the locations of their residency programs at noon on March 16, several &#8220;matches&#8221; occur prior to the national residency event for military students and for specialties such as ophthalmology and urology.</p><p>The students successfully matched to residency programs in the military or to ophthalmology or urology are: Allison Scalzo, of Harding, physical medicine &amp; rehabilitation at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center; Elias Tohme, of Wilkes-Barre, anesthesiology at San Antonio Military Medical Center.</p>
