<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A New York City rapper who pleaded guilty in connection with videos showing a juvenile engaging in sex acts is scheduled to bring his act to several Pennsylvania venues, including two in the Wyoming Valley.</p><p>Daniel Hernandez &#8212; also known by stage names 6ix9ine, Tekashi69 and Teka$hi69 &#8212; is slated to perform at Bentley&#8217;s in Ashley on Feb. 9, and at the Ali Baba Lounge in Wilkes-Barre on April 26.</p><p>A phone call to Bentley&#8217;s was not immediately returned Wednesday evening. An Ali Baba representative declined to comment.</p><p>Hernandez has amassed over 2 million followers on Instagram, and his single &#8220;Gummo&#8221; reached No. 13 on the Billboard Top 100 chart.</p><p>But the Brooklyn, N.Y., native also has made headlines for a 2015 case in which he pleaded guilty in a New York court to three felony counts of the &#8220;use of a child in a sexual performance.&#8221;</p><p><a href="http://www.mcall.com/entertainment/lehigh-valley-music/mc-ent-6ix9ine-one-centre-square-easton-20180131-story.html" target="_blank">According to The Morning Call</a>, Hernandez also is slated to play Easton&#8217;s One Centre Square on Feb. 9.</p><p>His performance schedule could be clouded by legal troubles, however; the paper also reported Hernandez is facing an April 10 sentencing date in New York.</p><p><strong>Three videos in focus</strong></p><p><a href="https://jezebel.com/details-in-child-sex-complaint-against-rapper-6ix9ine-c-1821245294" target="_blank">According to New York City court </a><a href="https://jezebel.com/details-in-child-sex-complaint-against-rapper-6ix9ine-c-1821245294" target="_blank">records posted as part of a Jezebel.com story</a>, on Feb. 25, 2015, a woman observed three videos on social media of her daughter engaging in sexual acts with two males present: Hernandez and another defendant, Taquan Anderson.</p><p>The woman contacted police, and told them her daughter was 13 at the time the videos were made.</p><p>While Hernandez didn&#8217;t engage in any sexual acts in the videos, in one video the child is naked and seen performing oral sex on Anderson. Hernandez, meanwhile, is seen behind the child thrusting and smacking her buttocks.</p><p>In a second video, the child is sitting on Hernandez&#8217;s lap wearing a bra and underwear while Anderson is seen pouring a liquid on the child and grabbing her breasts. In the third video, the child is naked and lying across both defendants&#8217; laps.</p><p>An affidavit states that Hernandez told a police detective &#8220;that is me on all the videos,&#8221; which were made in Manhattan&#8217;s Harlem neighborhood and uploaded to social media. </p><p><strong>A plea and denials</strong></p><p>News of Hernandez&#8217;s case spread late last year as his popularity rose. Despite having pleaded guilty, Hernandez denied the allegations in multiple interviews. Jezebel reported that he initially told police he &#8220;assumed&#8221; the child was over 18, and even called himself a &#8220;happy rapist&#8221; <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gG0lPXfbYOY" target="_blank">in a Snapchat </a><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gG0lPXfbYOY" target="_blank">video later posted to YouTube</a>.</p><p><a href="http://www.xxlmag.com/news/2017/12/tekashi-6ix9ine-child-sex-complaint-details/" target="_blank">In a December interview with </a><a href="http://www.xxlmag.com/news/2017/12/tekashi-6ix9ine-child-sex-complaint-details/" target="_blank">XXL</a>, Hernandez dismissed the controversy around the case.</p><p>&#8220;I&#8217;m free,&#8221; he told XXL. &#8220;You&#8217;re going to wait forever to see me in jail.&#8221;</p><p>The conditions of his plea deal involve one year probation, two years of mental health treatment, and 300 hours of community service. He is also prohibited from posting sexually explicit content on social media and was instructed to get his GED.</p><p>The Morning Call reported that Hernandez had been scheduled to be sentenced in New York on Tuesday, but the proceeding was continued until April 10 because Hernandez failed to obtain his GED.</p><style>
