<p>HAZLETON &#8212; A Hazleton man is facing a slew of charges after allegedly fighting police early Saturday.</p><p>Jose Tatis Camillo, 20, was charged with four counts of aggravated assault on an officer after police arrived at the scene of a domestic dispute, according to a press release from Hazleton Chief Jerry Speziale.</p><p>Here are more details from the chief:</p><p>Police responded to a call at 5:30 a.m. that a woman was yelling for help and telling a man to &#8220;stop&#8221; in the 900 block of East Diamond Avenue near Thompson Street.</p><p>Tatis Camillo and a 27-year-old female victim were separated, and she was sent to her parents&#8217; house for the night.</p><p>Police planned to provide transportation to both individuals due to their levels of intoxication.</p><p>But Tatis Camillo began resisting &#8212; walking away, arguing, and trying to punch an officer with a closed fist. A physical confrontation took place, with one officer deploying a taser, which Tatis Camillo continued to fight through.</p><p>The suspect was finally handcuffed, even though he continued to struggle.</p><p>The suspect was transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility, where his bail is set at $50,000 cash. </p><p>&#8220;The message should be clear &#8230; you assault one of my officers and you will be met with the appropriate force and face swift and decisive justice,&#8221; Speziale stated. &#8220;Domestic violence has always been a dangerous situation, however, more recently, these situations are becoming increasingly violent.&#8221;</p><style>
