Wilkes-Barre to form committee to review and score RFPs to develop Hotel Sterling site

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A semi-nude photo of a Wilkes-Barre Area School District teacher emailed to district officials has led to a criminal investigation into possible harassment, and a judge has directed Google to turn over the identities of users behind email accounts in the case.</p><p>District officials received an email late last week from someone claiming to be a concerned parent from an address of heightsprd4179@gmail.com, court documents show, including a photo showing the teacher wearing a tank top with a breast exposed. They forwarded it to law enforcement.</p><p>&#8220;In my opinion as a concerned parent I am ashamed teachers like this are in your school,&#8221; the sender wrote, according to an affidavit filed by Luzerne County detectives.</p><p>The author of the email goes on to suggest that they would be sending the photo to media outlets. As of Monday evening, the Times Leader had received no such contact.</p><p>Luzerne County Detective Charles J. Ballogh Jr. interviewed the teacher, who said she only sent the photo to her husband after taking it late last summer.</p><p>She told investigators that she doesn&#8217;t believe her husband sent anyone the photo, but believes instead that someone may have hacked his cell phone, the affidavit states.</p><p>The teacher went on to say that in November, she began receiving phone calls at all hours of the day. At some point, an individual forwarded the semi-nude photo to members of her husband&#8217;s family. She then began to receive harassing messages from numerous email addresses, one of which was uzaslut69@gmail.com.</p><p>In an order signed Monday, county Judge Tina Polachek Gartley directed Google to supply investigators with user information for the Gmail accounts that were used to contact the teacher and the district.</p><p>Gartley ordered Google to expedite the information process, saying investigators needed the information within five days&#8217; time.</p><p>District solicitor Ray Wendolowski said he could not comment on the matter due to the ongoing investigation.</p><style>
